About

Evan is a geographer and environmental scientist who enjoys finding novel intersections of spatial data and natural sciences. This site is a living graveyard of past, present, and future projects and experiments that may entertain or educate.

It holds three kinds of writing:

• Projects: case studies of things built, covering the architecture, the decisions and what didn’t work.
• Posts: longer articles, meant to be read start to finish.
• Notes: short and single-topic. A fix, a snippet, something learned.

The site is static: plain HTML and CSS, built with Astro, with no tracking and no client-side JavaScript. Every page is written in Markdown.
